The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the community,
to their shared meals, and to their prayers.
Acts 2:42
At Grand Blanc United Methodist Church, we believe it is vital to the nurturing of faith that we participate in ministries that help us to come closer to the love and grace of God through scripture study, fellowship, learning, and serving.

Pastor's Drop-In Bible Study
Every Thursday at 10am, Pastor Brian leads an hour long Bible Study, taking a careful look at one book of the Bible at a time. Whether you’re super familiar with the Bible, or opening it for the first time, this class is for you! There’s no start or end date, and it’s not a problem if you have to miss a session or two. Just come and bring yourself. We'll even have scripture printouts for everyone. This is a fun, relaxed group where we take scripture seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. Newcomers are ALWAYS welcome!
This Bible Study meets September - May, taking the summers off.

Adult Sunday School
On Sunday mornings at 10am, we have a one-size-fits-all Sunday School class for adults of all ages. Our Adult Sunday School class uses a variety of video and lesson resources that give space for mutual exploration of faith, scripture, and the application of both in our daily lives. Feel free to come, even if you're just exploring.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a fun group of crafty knitters who come together each week on Wednesdays at 10am for a great time together, and an incredible ministry. This group works together to create prayer shawls that are then prayed over and shared with those who may need a wearable hug. Additionally, the group creates "pocket prayer shawls," as well as "Knitted Knockers" which are special handmade breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomy or lumpectomy procedures. This wonderful group of busy knitters would love to have you come and join them, even if you don't yet know how to knit. They'd be happy to teach you.
